As most of you know, we are looking your hunting stories to publish at ORG Hunt in 2014.
How do you submit a story?
1. Send us a couple of images via email or Facebook. This is the most important aspect with regards to getting your story published, as your images must be of print quality. (I will do my best to look over every image.)
2. If the images are of good quality, then we will contact you about possibly writing a story. You don’t have to be a professional writer!!! I am a horrible writer, with regards to grammar & sentence structure. We aren’t looking for the best writers, we want the BEST hunting stories. We have proof readers to edit your stories!
Story submissions are generally 1,000-2,000 words and we prefer them to be submitted as a Microsoft Word Doc, via email.
3. Supporting pictures are another key! Pack-out, camp, taxidermy, scouting, family, scenic, etc…. Once we get your story, we will try to get some supporting pictures and these help improve where we place you in the magazine.
4. Size of the animal. Yes, it does matter, but it’s relative to what hunt you were on.
Limited draw hunts usually produce the best animals, so that’s kind of what everyone expects from these hunts.
With that said, we love TOUGH hunts and sometimes you perhaps kill a big buck, but not a big scoring buck. It’s sometimes about the WORK!
-We do not ask for exclusive rights and you do not have to sign anything when submitting a story (unless you are under 18).
You can email me (Craig@CEiOutdoors.com) or send us a message at anytime.
Thanks for your support! KEEP GRINDING…
