It’s NO secret Arizona produces some of biggest elk in the world! Over the next few weeks & months those HUGE bulls will lose what is left of their big antlers. When Arizona gets good precipitation from January-March, typically we have above average antler growth. By that we mean the bulls will reach their full growth potential for their genetic make-up & age class.
2005 was one of the BEST years ever for antler growth & that’s when this giant grew these! Arizona & Utah seem to be the front runners for producing the biggest bulls over the last decade, but many states out west hold 350+ type bulls.
