EARLY season scouting

It was our first official scouting trip for this fall & it started out with a couple of outdoorsmen stimulating the economy!

During this early season scouting trip, we mainly wanted to get out of the OFFICE/house and go see what the feed and water situation was.

Most of the larger tanks had a good amount of water and the feed was sprouting up (mainly weeds) but some grass was starting to come up.  The browse looked AWESOME!
Some cows were hitting this tank pretty frequently.
Again, the browse was in great condition and the warm weather was helping the green grass appear.
He didn’t quite make the jump.
We tried doing some shed hunting but the kids had more fun chasing each other and throwing rocks.  We found a lot of fresh bull sign but it was too far for us to pack the kids.  We will save that hike for another day, THANK God!
