cell phone, plugs, tripod, optics & the O.R.G.

Just got the old Honda Foreman loaded up and I discovered a 2″ nail stuck in the right rear tire. I pulled it out and stuck my 11th (not a typo) tire plug in this set of ATV tires. It really got me thinking about what I would not want to leave at home…

Besides my weapon of choice, food (H2O included) and clothes, these are what I have decided on
(at least for an early season archery mule deer hunt):

PhotobucketOptics– I don’t know what I would do without a good pair of optics. I feel naked without them!

Tripod– I get dizzy and find myself frustrated if I don’t have a good tripod to mount my optics on. It is almost as important as the optics themselves.

Tire Plugs– 11 plugs in my ATV tires! I don’t need to explain this one.

ORG & Cell Phone

Cell Phone- Climb a hill or drive to the next spot to get service. Whether you like them or not we all use them. If your wife is like mine, she likes to hear from you every now and again!

AZ O.R.G.- OK…I am a little biased but really if you break down, need some more broadheads, a taxidermists number or a bite to eat, it is all there. Not to mention law enforcement, medical number, road conditions & more… Folks upload the region you are headed too and print it out for free. Stick that section in your glove box. You just never know when you will need a number, service or product. Trust me, it will save you some money or time one day.

Good Luck!

A GPS would also come in handy…
